Job summary
We're looking for a creative digital communications manager to join our busy team who has a proven track record of creating great content for online audiences across websites, intranet and social media, and is a team player who knows how to prioritise a busy workload and use their initiative.
We're looking for someone who is adept at using content management systems, has an excellent eye for detail and can bring bundles of creativity to help our content and digital strategies stand out from the crowd.
Main duties of the job
Main duties and key responsibilities
To act as the Trust's digital communications specialist, providing expert advice on all aspects of digital communications.
Develop and implement a digital communications plan which supports the overarching communications strategy for the Trust and its objectives and priorities and:
- Create, develop and manage content for the Trust's website and intranet
- Lead on the development of creative and engaging communications plans as necessary
- Lead on the development of video communication materials for use in campaigns and on the website and Intranet
- Project manage the development and design of existing and future internal and external websites
- Advise and train relevant staff members in developing and uploading content for their own areas
- Co-ordinate web updates across departments
- Proof read all online content
- Track and report onsite metrics
- Monitor and manage social media presence
- Ensure that all digital communications is developed in-line with the corporate brand guidelines
- Create graphics and other bespoke design elements for internal and external marketing materials
- Create and update public-facing digital information screens and staff- facing screensavers
