AOS band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist

The post holder will be a key member of the Acute Oncology service responsible for advising on the management of patients presenting unwell with complications of cancer and its treatment. The team is also responsible for the management of patients with Cancer of Unknown Primary and Malignancy of Unknown Origin. As a team we are also working towards improving the management of patients with malignant brain tumours, offering clinical nurse specialist support and coordinating care.
You will be an experienced nurse with knowledge of cancer care and/or acute care, and you will have a key role to play in the AOS/CUP team. You will be well supported by the multi-disciplinary team and you will be offered excellent educational and career development opportunities.
