Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
The closing date is 03 April 2026
Job summary
Would you like opportunities to use and develop skills in a range of therapeutic modalities with individuals, families and systems? Would you like to ask 'what has happened to you' and not 'what is wrong with you'? Dove-tailing skills to develop formulation driven and person-centred care is our priority.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and highly motivated Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our well established multi-disciplinary CTPLD. We are offering two 0.6wte permanent Band 8a posts.
The posts offer excellent opportunities to work within a team dedicated to supporting interests in specialist therapeutic models and gaining access to relevant specialist supervision for example systemic and neuropsychological supervision.
We have well-established links with the Surrey Clinical Psychology doctorate and regularly provide teaching and trainee placements for the course. We encourage the development of supervision skills and completion of the Surrey Supervisors Training Course. There will be opportunities for all post holders to undertake supervision and develop their supervisor skills.
Due to the nature of community work, the applicant will still need a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact Dr Elisabeth Goad (elisabeth.goad@sabp.nhs.uk).
