PA to Associate Medical Directors

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA to join our Medical Directorate team. This is an interesting and varied position; the postholder will be an essential team member, who will provide four Associate Medical Directors (AMDs) and their Medical leads with high quality, confidential and efficient administrative support.
Main duties of the job
Receive a variety of telephone/Teams calls or emails, using initiative, tact, and discretion to deal with matters where possible, taking messages and re-directing calls as appropriate, liaising with staff both internal and external to the organisation
Be able to work across sites.
Be responsible for effective diary management to ensure effective use of the AMDs' time.
Be able to produce a wide variety of professional, accurate documents and reports using various IT packages to a high standard including spreadsheets and presentations.
Take and transcribe high quality minutes in appropriate Trust format, produce action logs, and ensure all documents are formatted to corporate standards.
Be initiative-taking, taking responsibility for the preparation of papers and agendas for formal meetings as required, taking the initiative to ensure all deadlines are met, liaising with authors of reports attending meetings to ensure prompt receipt of papers.
Follow up action points identified at meetings and ensure they are carried out by the relevant owner prior to the meeting.
Work closely with other PAs in the Medical Directorate, to ensure duties are covered and provide cross cover across the administrative function as required
