Job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced Nursing Associate to provide input to our Community Mental Health Recovery service. You will be joining a team of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and psychiatrists in providing specialist support to adults in the local area with serious mental illness.
To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for delivering excellence in mental health recovery services and supporting staff to reflect on their approach. You will be working face to face with service users, their carers and staff. Successful candidates will receive specialist training and supervision to ensure we adopt a consistent and evidence-based approach. The post holder will work as a valued team member by delivering health care interventions in clinics. It will also involve supporting rapid response and supporting assessment clinics.
You are required to have a Nursing Associate Foundation Degree and NMC Registration as a Nursing Associate. Please note we do not provide sponsorships for this role.
Subject to reasonable adjustments in respect of any disability, candidates must possess a valid driving licence and be able to drive and have the unrestricted use of a car or motorcycle for work at all times including community based work.
Main duties of the job
o To assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for individuals with Mental Health to take into account their physical health, mental health, social circumstances and lifestyle choices.
o To ensure care provided is in line with evidence based best practice.
o Work closely with qualified nurses to provide support to meet peoples needs
