We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Speciality Doctor to join us in the department of CYPS.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Specialty doctor to join the Community Children and Young People Service - CAMHS outpatient clinic on a substantive basis.
The candidate will work with two other consultants, another SAS doctors and trainees in a multidisciplinary team setting.
It s a very good opportunity for a newly appointed SAS, core trainees that want more experience in CAMHS as there is robust support, mentorship and opportunities for further development.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role are to work with consultant colleagues and local managers to develop safe, clinically effective, cost-effective service in Surrey.
The post holder will be expected to work constructively with SABP Trust managers (including the Associate Medical Director), work with local commissioners, and deliver and develop a strategy to ensure that the Trust remains the provider of choice for liaison services.
The post holder will also be expected to develop leadership capability aligned with the Trust approach to leadership development for all staff.

- Full medical registration with a license to practice.
- Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act (or within 6 to 12 months of the time of interview/assessment) or equivalent
- MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
Desirable
- Management qualification or evidence of an interest in developing leadership skills.
- MRCPsych or equivalent
- Relevant higher degree, e.g. MD, PhD, MSc or other additional clinical qualifications
