Based at Gatton Place in Redhill, you'll work alongside a skilled team of junior and senior practitioners, taking the lead in coordinating shifts, delegating tasks, and liaising with key stakeholders. You'll respond to requests for assessment and treatment for those experiencing a mental health crisis, using your expertise to make critical decisions and provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
For night shift only you will work as part of theRight Care, Right Person initiative, you'll also handle mental health-related 111 calls and offer advice to police and ambulance services--helping to prevent unnecessary A&E visits or detentions under Section 136.

Main duties of the job
As a Crisis Clinician, you will take the lead in conducting comprehensive assessments and coordinating shifts to ensure smooth service delivery.
You'll manage and triage referrals efficiently, mentor students to support their professional development, and carry out home visits for individuals on the caseload who require urgent mental health crisis intervention.
This role demands strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
