About LarkfieldLarkfield is a beautiful, six-bedded registered care home with nursing services, located in the peaceful village of Charlwood. We are proud of our tranquil setting, just a 30-minute walk from Horley Town Centre and a short drive from Crawley and Gatwick Airport.Registered with the CQC to provide accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care and for treating disease, disorder or injury, Larkfield offers spacious bedrooms that can be adapted to meet individual needs. We also have a sensory room to support the sensory needs of the people we care for.Our dedicated team of nurses and healthcare assistants (Band 2 and Band 3) provide 24-hour care to individuals with autism, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities. All activities are tailored to meet personal interests and support a fulfilling lifestyle.
Main duties of the job
Role Overview
You will be part of a professional and compassionate team supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs. Working closely with relatives, carers, friends, advocates, colleagues, and other professionals, you will help deliver a consistently high-quality, safe, and person-centred service.Your role will promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing, ensuring individuals enjoy a good quality of life in an environment of respect and compassion.
About You- Experience of providing care or support to an individual, either paid or unpaid.
- An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
- Must have a passion, drive and commitment to improve the lives of people with a learning disability.
- Care Certificate or willingness to complete within 12 weeks of starting role.
