Commercial Manager

The closing date is 20 September 2025

Job summary

If you are a clear communicator, a great leader, and a smart negotiator, you could make a difference.

We have a role within our busy Contracts team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Our Trust cares for people with mental health and emotional well-being needs every day. And we need your expertise.

This is a full-time post (37.5 hours per week). The role will be based in Leatherhead in our recently refurbished Headquarters at the Mole Valley Business Park. Travelling across our locations in Surrey on occasion is something that may be required going forward however this can be discussed with a great degree of flexibility.

Main duties of the job

Ideally you will have prior NHS experience of working in contracting and be familiar with the NHS standard contract. We are seeking someone with knowledge of buying healthcare services and/or arranging clinical contracts.

You will support the Associate Director of Contracting in leading the Trust's commercial strategy. You will work closely with the Procurement team to ensure effective procurement oversight, robust contract negotiation, and proactive supplier relationship management.

The successful applicant will play a vital part in deciding how our department is improving the method in which we collect, analyse, and share our information, also ensuring value for money, legal compliance, and the alignment of services with both clinical and operational priorities.
