Here for You provides confidential, inclusive and accessible psychological interventions to staff within SABP and across our partners organisations. The interventions provided include individual psychological. support and also support for teams.
This role of Deputy Clinical Lead, will be responsible for leading the psychology provision within Here for You by working closely with the Clinical Lead/Head of Staff Support to ensuring relevant clinical supervision is provided to staff, standards of service provision are set, monitored and maintained and that people, who use the service, receive a timely, accessible and inclusive service. Ensuring the service provides high quality, evidence based psychological interventions to staff.
This role will also deliver high quality psychology assessments, interventions and consultation within the Trust. Working with the Head of Staff Support on service development and evaluation.
Suitable for someone who is interested in and passionate about providing high quality leadership and psychological support to staff accessing our service and the wider organisations Here for You works with. Highly motivated to ensure the service provided is inclusive and working to ensure the service engages with marginalised or vulnerable staff groups. Ability to work autonomously when required but also to work closely and collaboratively with Head of Staff Support who provides oversight for the service.
Main duties of the job
o To Deputise for the Clinical Lead as and when required
. To maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with professionalCode of Conduct and Trust Policies and Procedures.
o To plan and deliver a highly specialist psychology service in the area of staff support, providing leadership and to oversee the clinical governance of the service by working closely with the Head of Staff Support
o To lead in the supervision and contribute to Individual Performance Review/Appraisal ofpsychology staff, as required.
oTo positively contribute to Trust and divisional developments in relation to psychology practice and staff support. To advocate and represent the Here for You service as and when required.
o To be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways as agreed with Head of Staff Support
o To ensure that the needs of people with protected characteristics are addressed within localservices and future developments.
o To demonstrate highly specialist expertise and specialist psychological skills such as specialist psychological assessments, formulation, therapeutic interventions and consultation to support people with complex needs
o To lead in developing and conducting clinical audit and research.
o To influence and develop team cultures that support and encourage innovation, creativity, partnership working and curiosity.

Within this new role, the postholder will be expected to lead on developing the service, working closely with the Head of Staff Support (Clinical and Service Lead Here for You) and providing some of the psychological interventions to staff who access the service. We offer a wide range of psychological interventions within Here for You which we continually review and develop as required to meet the needs of our staff and the latest evidence-based practice. Ensuring our service is fully accessible to our staff will be a key aspect of this role. Ensuring our contracts with external partners are met will be a key aspect of this post.

This post is 0.6 wte and the post holder will be required to work from the Trust Headquarters in Leatherhead as and when needed but at least 50% of the time. The post holder will also be required to travel to attend groups sessions of other training as and when needed.
The working days will be agreed with Head of Staff Support but will be 9am - 5pm 3 days a week.
