Job summary
The post holder will lead a design team and will be responsible for the quality of the digital products delivered. Using knowledge of the users needs and the Trusts strategic direction to frame problems and set priorities for the design teams. They will work with Clinicians, Trust management, staff and relevant NHS and external parties to ensure that the definition, creation and development from the design team is of a high quality and meets the changing demands on healthcare.
The trust utilises Digital Teams working in an agile scrum framework with a strong focus on user centred design and user experience. The postholder must have knowledge of and support this methodology.
They will ensure that the roadmaps for the design teams align with the Trust priorities, optimise Trust investments and deliver aligned clinical service and outcome improvements.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include:
- Leading and managing an agile-scrum design team in the delivery of digital products.
- Develops and manages the Digital Transformation portfolio including the vision and roadmap.
- To align Digital Transformation projects to the Trust business priorities ensuring maximum benefit is achieved from all spend on EPR and related products and services.
- Provide reports in relation to KPIs of the design teams; provide recommendations on methods of improvement and implement improvement plans in a timely manner.
- Line manage and create synergy between the Digital Teams.
