Job summary
To support and enhance the professional psychological care of people who use the Centralised Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) service. This is 18.75hrs, Tuesday -Thursday.
This will involve contributing to aspects of the DBT programme which includes Assessment, Group, Consult and some DBT-Informed individual work under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist. Independent work may also be undertaken according to a plan agreed with the team leader and the supervising psychologist. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of outcome statistics, and/or other project work as appropriate and agreed with the team leader and supervising psychologist.
The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.
Main duties of the job
To take responsibility for planning and facilitating group work and individual activities, on-going continuous assessment and adjustment of clinical interventions based on the fluctuating needs of the people using the service under the supervision of the Psychologist.
