Job summary
We are looking for applicants who are interested in taking up a Band 7-8a psychotherapy development post (qualified with BCP/UKCP/ CPJAC) a in our friendly and welcoming psychotherapy service in North-West Surrey Psychotherapy (Based in Chertsey).
You will have experience in working with people with severe and enduring mental health presentations and in offering assessment as well as individual psychotherapy. Group psychotherapy and experience in delivering MBT interventions is highly desirable. You will be supported in developing group therapy skills. Training in MBT and group psychotherapy is available with this post. We offer excellent opportunities for you to develop within this post. There are opportunities to actively participate in audit and research.

Main duties of the job
- To carry out high quality assessments of patients with a range of severe and enduring mental health difficulties who have been referred to the service for psychoanalytically informed interventions.
- To provide individual psychodynamic psychotherapy
- To conduct both group analytic and mentalization based treatments following appropriate training and with ongoing supervision.
