Job summary

We are excited to offer the opportunity to become part of a neurodevelopmental team that is supporting children and young people with suspected or confirmed neurodevelopmental need across Surrey.

The successful applicant will provide full administrative support alongside a team of administrators. There is also an opportunity to work from different bases across Surrey depending on where is convenient for the applicant whilst also coming together as an admin team on set occasions.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role include providing administration support to the clinical team and supporting calls received into the service. Tasks include letter writing, booking of rooms answering and directing phone calls and emails, administration associated with the clinical system as well as minute taking. You will also be required to work on your own initiative, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of a new and developing team. Therefore, the ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential.

You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post. You will have opportunities to work alongside our administrative team and ensure we are using the best systems and processes to support young people and families. This is an exciting opportunity to support an evolving, innovative service.
