Job summary
My
job makes better lives by contributing to the triage, assessment and treatment
of people experiencing a mental health crisis and their carers by ensuring that
I provide the right service, at the right time with the best outcome.
The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.
Main duties of the job
Post holder will work based at Theta in Frimley, Surrey providing urgent and routine referrals. As a Band 6 mental health practitioner, you will be working alongside multi-disciplinary team colleagues both junior and senior practitioners. On designated days you will
take a lead in coordinating shifts, delegating to other team members as well as
liaising with other key stakeholders. You will be required to urgently respond
to request for assessment and treatment of people experiencing a mental health
crisis as well where required facilitate early discharges from our inpatient wards at Farnham Road Hospital. You will work autonomously as well as an effective team member.
This is an
integrated role in order to support the triage and/or rapid response as well as
the Home Treatment elements of the service and the post holder will be
responsible for creating an environment which is safe, supportive and an easily
accessible with a no wrong door approach.
