Job summary
This is an exciting new post within the Community Mental Health Transformation Programme at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP).
We would welcome applicants who are passionate, committed, and able to work within a changing environment.
The post holder will be promoting health and independence for people, carers/support staff by delivering high quality consultation, supervision and guidance to Band 7, Band 6 Staff and trainees.
You will be leading and managing Additional Role Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), ARRS Mental Health Practitioners in order to achieve excellent outcomes for the people who use our service and their carers.
You will achieve this through excellent partnership working, clear strategic direction and by following our Trusts clinical strategy and involvement of people with lived experience, including carers.
The current position is Full-Time (37.5 Hrs over 5 Days a week) and 1 Year Fixed Term Contract.
Internal applicants within SABP can be considered for a Secondment role.
Main duties of the job
To ensure the service operates in a safe, effective & efficient way as part of the whole system of mental health services.
To support the strategic leadership for the division in relation to service improvement, quality evaluation and to be proactively involved in the overarching Community Transformation Programme.
To ensure that service is adhering to Policies, Procedures and legislation.
To contribute to initiatives to ensure that the diverse needs of people within the care group are addressed within local services and future developments.
To promote positivity, can-do attitude and to enhance the experience of the team members and the people we serve.
Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways that promote an environment of age inclusivity, involvement, and recovery.
Work with partners to ensure the agenda of addressing local health inequalities is reflected in interventions offered.
Responsible for the development of a high-quality service in line with the vision of the Community Mental Health Framework, working in partnership with Primary care leads.
Lead and motivate staff to provide a pro-active and responsive high-quality service, contributing to ongoing evaluation of the service.
Ensure that effective communications systems are established, maintained, and monitored regularly within the service and between the teams and other services/agencies/partners.
