Job summary
The Dialog + Training Lead role is a 12-month fixed term or secondment position. The post holder will lead in the development and delivery of the Dialog + Training into clinical services as part of the Clinical Education Team. Reporting into the Clinical Education, the post holder will create, collect , and maintain data and reports on the progress of the rollout of DIALOG+ Training in the Trust.
Main duties of the job
As the lead Dialog + trainer, you will have an in-depth understanding of Dialog + and you will have previous experience of delivering training to staff. You will be responsible for:
- delivering effective and highly engaging Dialog + training to the appropriate clinical staff across the Trust via class room/ face to face and virtual learning packages.
- Providing expert support and knowledge to relevant stakeholders
- designing and delivering the Dialog + training within defined project deadlines.
- Providing leadership and support in the development and delivery of the Dialog + training.

Key Responsibilities
- To take a lead role in the development and delivery of the Dialog + training and roll this training to the relevant workforce across the Trust.
- To develop the relevant training materials and course content in line with project requirements and best practice.
- To carry out regular progress reviews of the DIALOG+. training rollout and report to the Head of Clinical Education and other relevant stakeholders.
- To keep up to date with best practice from other NHS Trusts and partner organisations to ensure that the learning initiatives developed are at the highest quality.
- To lead and support the Clinical teams to become involved in the implementation Dialog+ by providing live talks, recorded presentations on DIALOG+.
- To work in partnership with all members of the clinical education team, widening participation team and other relevant stakeholders
- To design, develop and implement clinical Team briefings and updates to ensure that managers and clinical leads are aware of their role in helping roll out, implement, and embed DIALOG+.
- To arrange and carry out progress reviews with relevant stakeholders on DIALOG+ progress.
- To engage and collaborate with Senior Clinical Team members such as Nurse Consultants, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Social Care Home Managers to raise the profile of DIALOG+.
- To keep up to date with best practice from other NHS Trusts and partner organisations to ensure that the learning initiatives developed are at the highest quality possible.
- To support the Clinical teams to become involved in the development and implementation of Dialog+ by providing live talks, recorded presentations, and offering chats relating to DIALOG+.
- To set up regular forums and encourage the sharing of experiences and knowledge, support to colleagues and sharing successes of DIALOG+.
- Actively monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions in the workplace that enhance the learning environment in relation to Dialog+.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly reports as required.
- Provide professional Leadership through clinical and/or professional expertise to clinical teams and managers.
- In partnership with senior clinicians identify potential areas of practice development and lead the implementation of suitable learning and development solutions relating to Dialog+.
- Facilitate learning in both formal and informal settings to support the ongoing development of staff in clinical practice.
