Job summary
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge managing a CYPS Community Team within our newly developed Surrey Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) Service for Surrey & Borders NHS Foundation Trust?
You will be highly motivated, enjoy taking the initiative and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will be confident in working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and enjoy developing and leading a skill-mixed team.

We are looking for a manager who is creative, highly motivated, shows initiative, is passionate and committed to ensuring high-quality services for people with mental health illness, and who enjoys managing staff well-being and supporting people to achieve their potential.
The team is based in Gatton Place in Redhill Town Centre with a satellite base at our newly built Community Hub in Leatherhead which provides a modern and therapeutic environment and brings together a range of community services for children, young people, and adults.

Main duties of the job
Whilst ensuring children, young people, and families are at the centre of decision-making to promote person-centered care and outcomes, you will provide operational leadership, transformation innovations, and management to the CYPS Community Team (CCT) within the getting more help element of the THRIVE framework.
As part of a busy CYPS Directorate and alongside our Alliance Partnership including local voluntary sector organisations, you will be leading the team with the implementation and embedding of the THRIVE Framework across the newly created CYPS Community Teams in East Surrey.
You will ensure the service operates in a safe, effective & efficient way as part of the whole system of emotional health and well-being services within the THRIVE framework. In addition, to foster a culture that encourages and enables individuals to have an active role in identifying, planning, and meeting their individual needs.
Working closely with the other General Managers, Transformation Lead for CYPs, and the Associate Director we will ensure that the experience of the CYP using the service is at the centre of any decision-making whilst building an outstanding supportive and responsive relationship with colleagues within the alliance and externally across the Surrey system and leading on clinically challenging and complex cases as appropriate.
