Job summary
The Transformation Manager is responsible for
supporting Mindworks Children and Young people service transform care through
identifying new service developments and opportunities, leading competitive
processes and internal business cases, building and forming partnerships,
improving current service provision and developing innovative approaches to
service delivery.
This is a great opportunity for someone who hasan extensive understanding
of transformation and delivery of strategic programmes and projects developed
either within the NHS, elsewhere in the Public Sector or from the Commerical
sector, including consulting. This role
requires an individual with the ability to manage integrated programmes of work,
working closely with Divisional, Clinical and Operational leads in transforming
care. You will need to deliver work at
pace, be prepared to work to challenging deadlines and be able to prioritise
well, juggling multiple competing priorities at any given time.
The postholder will need to
have experience and understanding of working as a Senior Strategy or Clinical/Programme
Manager in the health and/or social care field, with strong communications
skills, excellent bid writing and business case skills, analytical capabilities,
planning and programme management skills to successfully lead on projects from
concept through to implementation.
Experience of clinical/service modelling and re-design would be
desirable.
Main duties of the job
This role is responsible for programme managing large
scale transformation projects from concept through to mobilisation working with
colleagues at all levels, facilitating collaboration, including senior
clinicians, executive leads, teams and service users. The post holder will support Division leads to develop new
clinical models of care, look at service improvement and improved ways of
working to better meet service user needs.
The role will include building a network of stakeholders
across health and social care keeping up to date with innovation and best
practice and leading on specific mental health Integrated Care System initiatives
and priorities.
