Job summary

We currently have an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a forward-thinking, proactive, and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician who would like to develop their management skills.

The successful candidate will work in the dispensary and have an Accuracy Checking Technician qualification.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will

Lead the efficient day-to-day operation of the dispensary services for inpatients and Outpatients of the Trust and other customers.

To plan and manage the pharmacy workflow relating to the opening of the Elective Centre (Ashford)

Ensure dispensed items are processed in a timely accurate manner.

Work with the Lead Technician across the site to ensure the smooth management of the dispensary service and associated staff and cover in each other's absence.
