Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who are keen to work within our Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (OPAU: Old persons assessment unit) You will be working within the Urgent and Emergency Care Division as part of fast-paced, care of the elderly setting. This department looks at giving bespoke care to our elderly patients and provide treatments and provision to prevent unnecessary hospital admission.

You will need to be a highly motivated nurse who is committed to delivering high standards of care and can demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills. We are looking for individuals that will work effectively and efficiently within the framework of team nursing and individualised patient care.In collaboration with the department integrated multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients.To contribute towards developing and maintain a suitable and stimulating learning environment

Main duties of the job

To work effectively and efficiently within the framework of team nursing and individualised patient care. In collaboration with the department's integrated multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients.

To contribute towards developing and maintaining a suitable and stimulating learning environment, and to supervise junior registered and non-registered staff.
