Job summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, proactive, and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician who would like to develop their management skills for two days a week (Mondays and Thursdays) to cover a flexible working request by the current post holder.

The successful candidate will work in the dispensary and have an Accuracy Checking Technician qualification.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will
Lead the efficient day-to-day operation of the dispensary services for inpatients and Outpatients of the Trust and other customers.
To plan and manage the pharmacy workflow relating to the Elective Centre (Ashford) and Dispensary Services at St Peter's Hospital.
Ensure dispensed items are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Work with the Lead Technician across the site to ensure the smooth management of the dispensary service and associated staff, and cover in each other's absence.

Manage day-to-day dispensary activities and participate in all aspects of dispensing, ensuring workflow patterns are organised to minimise the potential for dispensing
