Apprentice Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician

Job summary
We are looking for two individuals who are highly motivated to undertake a two-year apprenticeship work-based training course with a day release "college day" leading to a recognised academic qualification (BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians
To attend a college of further education on a day-release basis either virtually or physically while working in the pharmacy department depending on the education provider selected.
To rotate through all sections of the pharmacy department gaining experience in all aspects of the pharmaceutical service of the Trust.
This role is paid under Annex U pay band 4 which is at 70% (£20,380 p.a.) for the first year and at 75% (£21,835 p.a.) for the second year.
Candidates who hold equivalent qualifications at the same level or a higher-level qualification in pharmacy, nursing, or Biochemistry field will not be considered, as these individuals are not eligible for apprenticeship funding for these posts.
Main duties of the job
To work and gain experience in all sections of the pharmacy department on a rotational basis, under the supervision of the Section Manager. Sections to include Distribution, Dispensary, Procurement and Medicines Management
