Job summary
This role involves working across Ashford and St Peters Hospital and locations within the community. Shifts involve working between the hours of 07.00 - 20.00 4 days out of 7, example 07.00-12.00, 08.30-17.00, 12.00-20.00, 08.30-13.30.
As a Trainee Phlebotomists you will be trained to take blood samples from patients on the wards, within out patients and at clinics within the community.
This role requires physical fitness, a kind empathietc nature and excellent communitication skills.
Main duties of the job
To participate in the provision of a high calibre and professional Phlebotomy service within Ashford and St Peters Hospitals Trust and the local community. To perform venepuncture capillary sampling on patients and children within Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Trust and the surrounding community outreach clinics
