Job summary

We would like to invite you to apply for an exciting opportunity that has arisen in our General and Specialist Medicine division. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates to apply for a Specialty Registrar post (equivalent to minimum CT3/ST3 or higher). This role is not recognised as a formal training post; however, the training opportunities will be similar to those at ST3+ level training posts.

Applicants should at least have at least 6 months experience working in the UK and a full MRCP.

Main duties of the job

  • Daily ward rounds
  • Take part in the GIM on-call rota
  • In-reach to other wards when required
  • Outpatient clinics
  • Supervising the work of the foundation doctors
  • Completing audits and quality improvement projects
  • Professional development and study leave will be available to successful applicant
