Main duties of the job
To work effectively and efficiently within the framework of team nursing and individualised patient care. In collaboration with the department's integrated multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients.
To contribute towards developing and maintaining a suitable and stimulating learning environment, and to supervise junior registered and non-registered staff.
The role is varied, equally challenging and rewarding, where you will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the experience of our patients. Whether this is supporting patients in their rehabilitation and recovery following an operation or a period of acute illness or providing holistic and compassionate care for patients at the end of life.
