Job summary
This newly developed post offers the right candidate the opportunity to become a dynamic and innovative Simulation Teaching Fellow who is involved in the design and delivery of Clinical Educations Simulation Based Education and Technology Enhanced Learning programme and resources.
As a key member of the clinical teaching team, you will be expected to work in conjunction with the wider Education Teams to maintain an excellent standards, learner experience whilst ensuring the Simulation Service is promoted, modernised and most of all suitable for its participants.
The post is in partnership and includes a fully funded PGCert in Simulation at Brighton Medical School.
The post is Inter-professional, and we welcome applications from all professional registered healthcare professions who have a passion for all things Simulation this includes Doctors, Nurses & AHP.
Main duties of the job
The appointed person will be responsible for the working alongside the departments Simulation lead on establishing, improving and expanding a range of activities in relation to Simulation Based Education, which covers Clinical Skills, resuscitation and formal teaching.
Key result and measurable areas for this role will be;
- Increased visibility of Simulation Trust-wide, through communication, networking and local faculty establishment
- The project lead for the development of a multi-bedded simulation suite within the Clinical Education centre.
- Demonstration of increased use of SBE facilities across specialities including Interprofessional In-Situ Simulation
- Delivery of multi/Interprofessional Simulation including Technology Enhanced Learning
