Job summary

The Ward Admin assistant will provide an efficient productiveadministrative service to the Ward Manager and Ward Staff to ensuresmooth coordinated and forward planning of the administrative dutiesenabling a productive, regulatory compliant and efficient ward. The WardAdmin assistant will be expected to be professional at all times.This role will ensure administrative functions, to ensure that thedeliverables of the ward manager role is completed, under the directsupervision of the ward manager. This includes, for example, adminsupport for organising ward meetings, note/minute taking, updatingrosters, ESR, as well as organising forward plans for mandatory trainingand annual leave.The Ward Admin assistant will deal with highly sensitive information andtherefore a high degree of confidentiality is required at all times

Main duties of the job

Assist with updating staff files ensuring confidentiality at all times

Keep Accreditation folder up to date

Keep Quality boards up to date with relevant information

Assist with monitoring and updating Annual leave

Booking of training and maintaining accurate records

Arranging Ward Meetings and taking Minutes

Administrative support for Ward Manger and Deputies

Ensure patient property is collated and efforts are made to find the owner. EnsureProperty lost is brought to the PALS office/locked away as required and photographedand put on property reunite. Manage the daily review of property reunited.
