Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team.A structured training and development programme will be provided offering exciting rotations through specialities such as, Critical Care (level 3), Paediatrics in our tertiary neonatal intensive care unit (level 3), Musculoskeletal (MSK), Medicine (including Respiratory, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Frailty), Haematology, Surgery (including Colorectal, Orthopaedics & Bariatrics) and Medicines Information. There is also opportunity to gain experience in antimicrobial stewardship, medicines safety, education & training, palliative care (including hospice placements) and clinical trials. We also support a unique opportunity for a Primary Care Rotation which currently includes working within a PCN, gaining experience of working within general practice and learning about the wider system. You will work closely with and be fully supported by the divisional and service lead pharmacists and their teams.
