Job summary

Our Medical Workforce Team has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Medical HR Advisor to join our team at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the recruitment and management of Doctors in Training and provide expert advice and support on a wide range of day to day Medical HR requests and queries with the opportunity to get involved in a wider range of medical projects.

You must be customer focused and have the ability to develop good working relationships and personal credibility with doctors, managers and other staff at all levels. You will need excellent prioritisation, planning and communication skills and the ability to multi-task with attention to detail is essential. You must be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative and possess a flexible approach.

This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in Medical Staffing and gain hands-on experience in a busy but supportive workplace.

Main duties of the job

  • The Medical Workforce Advisor will deliver the day to day operational functions for Doctors in Training as well as assisting the Senior Medical Advisor and the Medical Workforce Team Leader with a variety of medical workforce related projects.
  • The postholder is also responsible for ensuring Doctors in Training staffing meets required standards including the Code of Practice for Doctors in Training, NHS Resolution, NHS Employers guidance/standards.
