Job summary

Bringing a wealth of recruitment experience, creativity and passion, the postholder in conjunction with the North West Surrey partners will be responsible for developing a cutting edge attraction strategy for posts that have historically been hard to fill across Health and social care. The post holder will lead and manage the North West Surrey Place based recruitment hub, running a wide range of varied recruitment campaigns, working with all Alliance partners, the VCSE and independent Care sector. The initial focus will be to form the hub, integrate a digital platform to allow for digitalised talent pooling and set out clear ways of working with all partners. The post holder will also be expected to use modern recruitment methodology to develop and lead on a wide range of large scale recruitment campaigns across the North West Surrey Health and Care Alliance.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will require excellent inter-personal skills, be skilled in making and sustaining relationships with a range of stakeholders and have extensive experience of leading a team.

Main duties of the role include (not limited to):

  • Leading the recruitment hub team to develop exciting recruitment campaigns.
  • Develop the attraction strategy, bringing new ideas and facilitating a culture of change.
  • Use skills and expertise to be able to offer a headhunting service for hard to fill roles.
  • Working with partner organisations across the health and social care, voluntary and charity sectors across North West Surrey with the overall aim of attracting a new workforce with the desirable skills.
  • Utilise a host of different approaches, including digital media, to campaigns and programme planning and execution, ensuring content is appropriately targeted, impactful, and engaging.
