Job summary
Bank Imaging Equipment Manager - Band 7 37.5 hours per week APPROX 4 MONTHS
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Imaging team in this new role as Imaging Equipment Manager. You will have a key role in managing the equipment service contracts and act as a key contact for the equipment manufacturers for maintenance and repairs. There will also be an opportunity to organise and assist with the purchasing of new equipment and organising training.
Main duties of the job
To manage the Imaging and other Trust equipment including maintenance contracts, repairs and modifications
To be the point of contact between the manufacturers and the Trust staff regarding breakdowns and maintenance
To plan the Physics acceptance tests for new equipment and organise the visits with the Radiation Physics Department.
To be responsible for writing business cases for new and replacement equipment as well as other Imaging contracts e.g., reporting
To ensure that service contracts fall within budget and report any discrepancies to the Associate Director of Imaging and or Estates

- Management qualification or equivalent leadership experience in an NHS organization NHS organisation equivalent to masters level
Desirable
- Registered Clinical Technologist
- Registered Radiographer HCPC
- Member of Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM)
- Trained to undertake Electrical Safety and Portable Appliances
