Job summary

To provide administrative support to the Travel Plan office and assist in the provision of all information and documentation in relation to staff car-parking and the Trust's Travel Plan.

Main duties of the job

o To welcome visitors to the Security / Travel Plan office

o To receive incoming telephone calls, to deal with appropriately and re-route to the appropriate personnel as necessary, ensuring that a customer's first contact with the office is a customer focused one

o To issue out visitors passes, car parking permits and keys to Contractors and visitors to the St. Peter's Travel Plan offices

o To answer the Help point/intercom and 2-way radio's and provide information and support for users

o Receipt of lost property, including valuables - following security process

o Any other duties that may be deemed to be appropriate for the position

  • Microsoft Office Courses

Desirable

  • ECDL training or other IT qualification

Experience

  • Previous reception or customer service experience in a large organization
  • Ability to create and accurately maintain databases

  • NHS experience
  • Knowledge of Helpdesks

Knowledge

  • NHS Constitution

  • Computer packages such as Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
