Job summary

The Children's services in Oxford are recruiting band 5 nurses who are due to qualify in Summer 2026 to work within our supportive teams.

There are band 5 positions available amongst most of our diverse specialities within the Children's Hospital. Main duties of the job

The main role of band 5 Registered Nurse will be:

1. Provide exceptional patient care which is underpinned by the best evidence based practice

2.Maintain and develop high standards of nursing care, reflecting the professional nursing practice and patient care

3. Supports the Senior Band 5 and 6s and 7s

4. delegate, supervise and support unregistered workforce and students with day to day duties

5. be self aware and responsible for their own training needs, skill enhancement and registration renewal
