As aBand 6 Therapeutic Radiographer,you'llplay a key role in delivering safe, high-quality radiotherapy treatment using advanced techniques likeSABR, VMAT and DIBH. You'll work with an experienced team in a friendly, welcoming environment where your development and well-being matter.

The purpose built, modern radiotherapy centre is equipped with cutting-edge technology includingVarian TrueBeams(with6DoF &RGSC) and aSiemens CT GoSimnetworked byARIA. We are a multi-site service with centres in Oxford, Milton Keynes and here in Swindon -three sites, one team!

Main duties of the job

Work as a member of the team of Radiographers covering all sections of the department including mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation and contouring, delivery of a wide range of both simple and complex treatment and IGRT techniques

Support the team leader in the day-to-day management of their assigned pre-treatment or treatment work area, assisting in the organisation and management of the clinical workload.

Liaising with the multidisciplinary team.

Assist with the day-to-day organisation of a treatment unit to ensure an efficient service is delivered and workload targets are achieved.

Supervise, support & teach junior members of staff and students.
