BAND 5 THERAPEUTIC RADIOGRAPHER - OUH Radiotherapy @ Milton Keynes

We are seeking a motivated Therapeutic Radiographer to join the OUH Radiotherapy team in Milton Keynes.

As a Band 5 Therapeutic Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering safe and effective radiotherapy using techniques including SABR, VMAT and DIBH. You will work alongside an experienced and welcoming team in a modern environment where professional development and wellbeing are actively supported.

The department is equipped witha Varian TrueBeam with 6DoF, RGSC and SGRT, and a Siemens CT, all networked by ARIA. The service launched in early 2025 and forms part of a multi-site radiotherapy service across Oxford, Milton Keynes, and Swindon, combining the benefits of a close-knit local team with the resources of a large radiotherapy service.

We offer a comprehensive induction and preceptorship programme, with the opportunity to progress to Band 6 through our Link Programme with automatic promotion on successful completion. CPD funding is available to support ongoing development.

Main duties of the job

Work as a member of the team of therapeutic radiographers covering all sections of the department including CT scanning, virtual simulation and contouring, delivery of a wide range of both simple and complex treatment and IGRT techniques

Liaising with the multidisciplinary team.

Assist with the day-to-day organisation of the CT and treatment unit to ensure an efficient service is delivered and workload targets are achieved.

Supervise, support & teach junior members of staff and students.

  • HCPC registered Therapeutic Radiographer

Experience
