Job summary

We are recruiting experienced nurses with minimum 2 years post registration experience. We seek nurses who are motivated, enthusiastic and thrive in fast paced acute and high acuity clinical environments. You will have recent experience in an acute hospital setting and are committed to delivering compassionate excellence, remaining calm under pressure and confident to maintaining rigorous standards required in our specialist areas. We are recruiting to our talent pipeline, with a current focus on specific areas, these include:

  • Emergency Department (ED) - managing a wide range of acute presentations with efficiency and clinical expertise.
  • Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) - delivering rapid assessment and treatment for patients requiring urgent care and stabilization.
  • Oncology - delivering complex cancer care with compassion, precision and deep understanding of treatment protocols, including Chemotherapy and other IV treatments
  • Orthopaedic - caring for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and trauma care.
  • Endoscopy - supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence.
  • Trauma - Major Trauma Centre for the 3.2 million residents of the Thames Valley , ensuring that patients with complex injuries such as open fractures and pelvic / acetabular fractures are transferred to our care for specialist management.

Main duties of the job

You will be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills, capable of leading and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and passionate about delivering high-quality, Holistic care to patients and their families, as well as supporting junior colleagues and student.
