We are looking for a caring and highly motivated Radiotherapy Scheduling co-Ordinator to join our friendly and welcoming radiotherapy team at theOxford Cancer Centre.
You will be part of a team committed to providing a high-quality, caring and compassionate service for patients. The role is essential to ensure the efficient pathway flow of patients through the Radiotherapy department.
Good communication, interpersonal and team working skills are essential for informing patients of their appointments & discussion with the wider team as well as being compassionate and adaptable.
You should be flexible in your approach to work, be able to act on your own initiative. Good computer skills are required.

You will be able to progress to band 4 after 12-18 months by completing competencies.

Main duties of the job
- Work as part of a team to schedule and book patient appointments for radiotherapy
- Provide a courteous scheduling service to patients and carers
- Communicate, mainly by phone, with patients & carers and the wider MDT regarding radiotherapy appointments
- Liaise with the Radiographers regarding patient's appointment
- Co-ordinate the SABR MDT & collect data
