Job summary

We are looking for a Band 3 Nursing assistant to join a friendly Day Case Team. The role will include working alongside a multidisciplinary team providing high quality patient centred care to a wide range of patients. The successful candidates would need to have the care certificates be able to cannulate, be motivated, organised and possess outstanding communication skills. Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment. Work well under pressure and have flexible approach to work. There maybe a need of cross site cover although the primary base will be at the Horton.

Main duties of the job

The unit is rapidly expanding caring for patients undergoing a variety of day surgery procedures for a number of different specialities and ambulatory care requiring infusions for irritable bowel disorders, blood transfusions and other interventions suitable for day admissions. We are currently open between the hours of 7.30 am till 8.30 pm Monday to Friday.
