This is an opportunity for a motivated candidate to join the OUH Supply Chain team. As a department, our clear aim is to provide our clinical teams with the supplies needed to deliver outstanding patient care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be able to: -
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver an efficient & professional service
- Understand all aspects of the supply chain operation to drive opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and development
- Work to a high-level of detail and be able to manage supply disruption
- Capable of working with multiple IT based ordering and management systems
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clinical stakeholders

Using automated procurement and the latest inventory management software, this post will ensure that, as a team, all customer areas are sufficiently stocked, deliveries are efficiently received & delivered and clinical queries are promptly managed. This role will also work with clinical colleagues to ensure that changes in patient numbers and profiles are accurately forecasted and delivered.
Previous experience in Supply Chain or Logistics would be beneficial - prior experience in healthcare is not essential. Full training & support will be given to the right candidate.
