POST OF: CONSULTANT IN OPHTHALMOLOGY (Glaucoma)
A whole-time (10 PA 40 hours) post as a Consultant in Ophthalmology specialising in glaucoma is available at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The ideal candidate would have post CCT Fellowship in glaucoma. This is a substantive appointment comprising of 10 programmed activities (PAs) and an on-call commitment. The 10PA's are apportioned as 8.5 for direct clinical care and 1.5 for supporting professional activity as per trust policy. The appointments are on a whole-time/part-time basis but applications are welcome from those who wish to job share.

CONSULTANT IN OPHTHALMOLOGY specialising in glaucoma
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Consultant Ophthalmologist with a subspecialty interest in glaucoma to join our established team of 25 Consultants. This is replacement post to replace one of two substantive glaucoma consultants. The Oxford Eye Hospital provides a glaucoma service to the Oxfordshire Population This post is to provide consultant level cover in glaucoma. The post is based at the John Radcliffe Hospital which is a teaching hospital and academic centre. This post includes an Eye Casualty session, theatre sessions and participation in the consultant on call rota. The glaucoma service runs both face to face and virtual clinics in Oxford and in peripheral sites. Deanery trainees, glaucoma fellows, optometrists, specialist nurses and technicians support the service.
