Band 7 Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist Hand Therapy

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 specialist Physiotherapist / Occupational Therapist to join our team. Applicants should have BAHT level III qualification or in the process of obtaining it.

Main duties of the job

The Band 7 will support the team leader in service delivery and assist in the development of our Hand Therapy Services across the Oxford University Hospital sites. The team include occupational therapists and physiotherapists, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your own skills and those of the staff within the unit in a supportive, friendly and learning environment.

The department offers within it a wide range of experience; you will be supported to be actively involved in the development of the service, advancing your clinical, teaching, managerial and research skills.

The post holder must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to teach, lead, mentor and develop senior and more junior staff and students. Previous band 7 hand therapy experience is desirable. The candidate should have BAHT Level 3 accreditation and/or relevant MSc Degree.
