The Senior Health Economist & Methodologist role offers an excellent opportunity to play a crucial part in supporting innovators whose technologies could benefit from clinical pathway assessment and economic analyses. This role involves collaborating with potential adopters and purchasers, such as health professionals, procurement, commissioners, and managers, to assess the clinical and economic impact of implementation.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, organised with a committed attitude.The post-holder's portfolio will encompass evaluations of various technology types, including AI, Diagnostics, Med Tech, Digital Health, Pharmaceuticals, and pathway and service innovations, at different stages of development.
Key Responsibilities:o Strategic Support: Assist innovators and industry partners in planning and designing evidence generation strategies for health economics and outcomes.
o Collaborative Evaluation: Collaborate closely with innovators and industry partners to assess the impact of healthcare technologies.

Main Functional Responsibilities:- Conduct evaluations and economic assessments adhering to established methodologies and reflecting current best practices.
- Design and develop transparent and user-friendly economic models, including budget impact, cost consequence, cost benefit and cost-utility models appropriate for the audience and decision making processes.
- Develop models and evaluation frameworks, employing mixed-method approaches to evaluate a range of health technology types and in different clinical disciplines
