Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country and a leading international Academic Health Science Centre. We are seeking a talented, motivated, and creative Graphic Designer to join our award-winning in-house design team. Our ideal candidate will already have industry experience in translating brand and marketing objectives into effective and engaging visual communications and hold a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
Main duties of the job
Within this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a friendly, professional team of experienced designers, photographers and filmmakers, with a shared commitment to making a real difference to the public's health. Designing promotional material, health campaigns, patient information and teaching resources on behalf of Oxford University Hospitals, charitable organisations, public sector and commercial clients, ensures that the design projects you work on are varied and inspiring. In addition, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills through continued professional development and mentoring.
Working across digital and print media, you will be required to apply a high level of creative flair, strong communication skills and excellent team collaboration to support the Head of Design and Marketing in achieving the highest standards of creative production.
Your agency or studio experience will have enabled you to gain a professional working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (in addition to print and production processes) and you will already have a sound working knowledge of developing design for digital media and online channels.
