It is available on a permanent, fixed term or secondment basis.We arelooking for a dynamic Finance and Performance Manager with strong financial analysis skills,line management experience, private patient experience and a proven track record for high quality financial data to lead our Private Patient and Overseas Visitor Financial Team. The post holder will provide financial management leadership to the private patient and overseas services team (80%) with some support for the Commercial Directorate as a whole (20%). The post holder will manage the teams function of managing invoicing, revenue generation, contracts management, cash collection and debt recovery as well as overseeing the reporting and performance process within the team. You will also lead projects and change initiatives across this broad range of complex activities to achieve challenging targets within agreed timescales.You will be fully supported to develop this new role and be part of a team delivering direct financial benefit to the NHS.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for managing and monitoring the finance and business performance and the staff within the private patient and overseas visitors finance team. You will be responsible for detailed analysis and interpretation of all activities to continue the development and improvement of the services as part of the expansion and development of the private patient business.
The post holder will also act as a lead specialist finance reporting, business intelligence, invoicing and income recovery including debt recovery.
