Job summary
An opportunity has become available for an experienced manager to support the Leadership and delivery of care in a Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse capacity of Ambulatory Outreach Team (AOT). Working alongside a supportive and collaborative multi professional team developing services with opportunity for self development.
The applicant should demonstrate skills and leadership of Nursing the ambulatory teams, supporting MDT colleagues and managing patients compassionately.
Main duties of the job
The ward sister will be a highly experienced, knowledgeable Clinical Leader, who provides clinical and professional leadership and support to the team. Acting as a role model the Sister/Charge Nurse will promote and monitor safe and effective practice. The Sister/Charge nurse will develop the ward team to ensure considerate and compassionate care is delivered by a competent workforce and develop processes to enhance the patient experience.
