To work as part of a tam which provides comprehensive, high quality administration support to our Neonatal SONeT service as part of Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
Main duties of the job
Working on the SONeT hub desk, receiving calls from hospitals within the Thames Valley and Wessex network ensuring that all information is dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner. Contacting all hospitals within the Thames Valley and Wessex network to obtain cot availability. Update the SONeT database accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all transport paperwork is produced accurately and efficiently.
Provide accurate and efficient admin support to the Newborn Care unit, ensuring that EPR is updated in a timely manner. Ensure that all the necessary paperwork for all new admissions to the Newborn Care unit is generated in a timely manner. Provide admin support the the nursing and medical teams working on the Newborn Care Unit

As a member of the ward team provide a high level of administraion and support/assistance to SONeT (Southampton and Oxford Neonatal transport service) and to the nursing and medical staff on the Newborn Care unit acting as a pivotal member of the Newborn care unit team.
Take responsibility for manning the SONeT hub in an organised and professional manner.
Take responsibility for the updating of EPR in a timely manner, ensuring all admissions, discharges and movements around the Newborn Care unit is reflected correctly on the Trusts EPR system.
Manage telephone calls from parent and other multidisciplinary teams on a daily basis.
