CLIINCAL SPECIALIST PHYSIOTHERAPIST WOMEN'S HEALTH
FIXED TERM TO 04.12.26 WITH A POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION. 26 HOURS WEEKLY, BAND 7
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Women's Health to join our Outpatient Women's Health service, including Obstetrics and Breast Surgery Physiotherapy, based at Queen's Hospital Burton. You will be part of a friendly, skilled, and forward-thinking Women's Health and MSK Therapy Team.
We are seeking a motivated physiotherapist withadvanced assessment and clinical reasoning skills across a diverse and complex MSK and Women's Health caseload. You should be able to provide a clear working diagnosis and develop individualised treatment plans. Our service receives referrals from primary care, midwives, obstetricians, emergency departments, consultants, and staff self-referrals. The wider therapy team includes MSK, Rheumatology, Hand Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Osteopathy, Clinical Specialists, Advanced Practitioners, and a Consultant Physiotherapist.
In this role, you will work primarily inWomen's Health Physiotherapy Outpatients, acting as the departmental clinical lead for the advanced assessment and management of patients with highly complex needs. A full induction and competency support package will be provided if required.
