An opportunity as arisen within the oncology dietetic team here a University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
To work with head and neck cancer patients to improve and develop the dietetic service in this new role. Along side members of the multidisciplinary team.
In addition to supporting other members within the oncology dietetic team.

Main duties of the job
The posts will include working with head and neck cancer patients inpatient, outpatient, face to face, telephone consultations, within radiotherapy, chemotherapy and palliative care settings. You will be part of the multidisciplinary team and work along side a variety of other healthcare professionals. To provide nutritional support to a range of patients.
If you are successful your role will be to develop the post, including audit, projects and teaching to a variety of people.
The department is committed to student training and dietetic apprenticeship. You will be involved in delivering placements for A, B and C placements.
