Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional leader to continue their nursing leadership journey, as the band 7 lead at our RDH site Endoscopy unit. You will join a leadership team which spans three sites with the band 7 leaders at our QHB and SRP.
Experience in leadership and management at band 6 level, as well as understanding/experience of JAG accreditation will be essential. Evidence of understanding patient experience and safety and regulatory compliance will also be essential.
The purpose of the role is to take overall responsibility for the clinical care environment and the patient's journey by providing professional nursing leadership and guidance, expert clinical advice and managerial skills. These skills will ensure the delivery of a clinically effective service in line with local and national development plans, Trust policies and procedures.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong and effective leadership skills, an ability to manage a diverse workforce to maintain the high standards set whilst meeting the key performance indicators within the constraints of policy, guidelines and budget.
You will work with the ward team but also with our Gastroenterology MDT Teams and other teams across the Trust to provide excellent care for our patients.
